Overview:
GI-Fibre Distribution
Global Invacom (GI) has designed, developed and manufactured a fibre optic based distribution system (GI-Fibre) to solve many of the issues encountered in using coaxial based multi home Satellite and Terrestrial systems.

The FibreMDU Virtual quad, connects to a single fibre optic cable from a FibreMDU Optical LNB. This is done either through a network of passive optical splitters (PON) or directly from the LNB (with attenuation).

Converts a fibre optic source into a standard satellite signal.
Each Virtual Quad provides 4 universal feeds for connection to up to four satellite receivers.

● The FibreMDU system distributes digital satellite signals to 32 points over a single fibre.
● Passive Optical Network (PON) connected directly to an Optical LNB (GI-O’LNB).
● An MDU Optical Convertor (Virtual Twin, Virtual Quad or Virtual Quatro) is located at each of the points connected, this converts the signals back to a form that all digital satellite STBs expect to receive. Each end user is able to receive all the services and programming offered by the broadcaster just as if they were connected to their own antenna.
