High precision scissors that allow two functions: cutting the Kevlar/Aramid yarn and cutting the fiber optic cable itself.
The Jonard Ergonomic Tool JIC-186 Wire and Kevlar® Cutting Shears are designed to cut Kevlar®, cabling insulation, tape, cable ties, and other materials with ease. These cutting shears feature the following:
● High carbon stainless steel blades are heat-treated to HRC 58-60 for longer life and durability
● Handles are made of dual component nylon and Santoprene™ material and are ergonomically designed for superior comfort and long term durability
● Adjustable with joint screw under the protective cap
● Serrated blade for gripping as well as sharp and durable cutting
The fiber optic Kevlar cutting scissors are an important tool in fiber optic splicing and other fiber optic cable cutting applications. The Kevlar cutting scissors are made of high quality stainless steel.
